Vegetable Oil as Vehicle Fuel

September 15th, 2005 by admin

It would seem that it is in fact perfectly legal to burn sunflower oil (or any other vegetable fuel) in your diesel engine in the UK, just as long as you declare to it to Customs and Excise and pay the correct duty on it. Even with paying this duty you can still be saving up to 25% on your fuel bills. Check out this website on Vegetable Oil as Vehicle Fuel which tells you all about it.
